The LORD Is With Those Who Reverence Him

Psalm 34:7
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

I have experienced angelic activity on a few occasions, and it is truly something to behold. I recall two times that I experienced angelic activity involving an angel clapping their wings above my head. There was such peace in those moments even though the circumstances were troublesome due to marital conflict. Nonetheless, it is comforting to know that the messengers that do the bidding of the LORD at the Word of the LORD will come to minister to you. Moreover, it is awesome to know that the LORD encamps around those who reverence ELOHIM.

Believers can at times not be conscious of the manifold benefits given to us. Through communion with God, worship, the declaration of the Word of the LORD and expectation, one can encounter the divine. It is also true that by the grace of God one can do none of these things mentioned and still encounter the divine. However, I am grateful knowing that as I daily submit to the LORD that I live in a hedge of protection from my enemies.
I worshipped and talked to the LORD on my drive back to Durham today. I am sure that the angelic host assigned to my life were at work as I travelled. I find delight in giving thanks to the LORD for his consistent protection and deliverance. There were many opportunities for trouble along the highway as I drove late two nights ago and then again today. It was not my good driving alone that brought me home. It was not the good driving of others on the road that allowed me to return safely. It was the saving grace of God that allowed my good driving and the good driving of others to be. It was the kingdom mandate given to the host assigned to my life to guard and defend me.

Understanding principles of the kingdom of God have been very useful to me. I never want to be familiar and ungrateful to the LORD or to those that serve me at the bidding of the LORD. It is easy to slip into a routine and begin to think that life is happening simply because humanity wills it so. I do not want my communion with ELOHIM to be centered around the big things that the LORD does for me or through me to help others. I want my reverence to be as real and consistent as the air that I breathe. I want my life to abound in grace, truth, power, and fruitfulness because I embody the fear of the LORD. No matter what may come or go or what I may be called to do, I know that ELOHIM is my deliverer. My God is Adonai Sabaoth, the LORD of the mighty warring angels. Together, they fight for me and deliver me. I gladly do obeisance because my LORD never fails. The LORD cannot fail.

Prayer:
Adonai Shamma, I come to You by the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ. The Name of Jesus is the saving Name whereby all can be saved. You are my shield and my buckler. Your angels do Your bidding by the declaration of Your Word. Help me to study Your Word faithfully and to live it out. Help me to keep Your commandments as I love You. I desire to remain fearful of You and in awe of Your power. Let me uphold Your truth above all other things in this world. You deliver me from the snare of the enemy and the arrows and dangers that are shot out against me. You also deliver me from my base self. And for these blessings I extol You. Thank You!
