Hello! I'm Mrs. Robinson aka Mother Robinson. Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to visit my church's website and learn about me and my husband.
If you missed any part of our "Learn About Bible Way and Our Leaders" blog series, check previous weeks out by clicking below:
My husband...isn't he handsome?! I love him very much. He's a good father and leader. Last week he shared about his education experience and this week I'm sharing mine. We both love to teach and we both enjoy school.
Guess what else we both did very well while in school?
If you guessed "play sports," you're right!
My husband was the basketball star in school in Missouri.
I was the track star in Hopkinsville, Kentucky! Last time I visited Hoptown my track record was still holding! Isn't that awesome?
I graduated in June 1970 from Christian County High School in Hopkinsville, Kentucky where I ran track for four years. After graduating, I joined the military and was honored to be in the all women's corp. I was honorably discharged from the military to take care of my family and to work as a civil servant for military families through School Age Services. I completed a Child Care Training program through Central Arizona College in Maricopa, Arizona.
I also successfully completed Budget and Personal Finance Training through Crown Financial Ministries in March 2015. I strongly believe in making sure your finances are in order. If you're in debt...get out of debt. If you're not debt...don't get into debt. Pay cash for things. Save your money. Spend wisely. I tell my children and husband these things all the time. If I want to buy new furniture or a gift for someone I pay cash and I buy on sale. And I buy good furniture and good gifts! I know how to shop well! SMILE.
Tell me, what did you enjoy in school? What do you like to shop for? I'm interested.
Also, please join my husband, Bishop Robinson, and I and the Bible Way Church family. We look forward to meeting you at our church and enjoying the presence of Our LORD Jesus Christ together.
You can Worship With Us during any of our scheduled services. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Words of wisdom to live by from our Senior Leader, Bishop Earnest E. Robinson, Sr. and other guest writers.
